11:11 Global Exporters was founded in 2012 by Eric Reed with the idea that small and medium sized businesses needed more help in not only staying viable as companies but growing in an ever increasing global environment. Studies show that exporters tend to grow 22% faster than non-exporting companies, which is good for jobs and the U.S. economy.
Eric's desire to help small businesses started when he was a child and watched his own father's business fail. Eventually while serving in the US Armed Forces he travelled the world where he gained an appreciation for international business and international relations. After retiring from the military he took Master courses in acquisitions & procurement management and international relations with an eye to opening a company that would help businesses compete and grow in the global environment. Combining his love for travelling and meeting people from different cultures with his desire to help businesses, Eric opened 11:11 Global Exporter. Eric has also graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management's Entrepreneurship course in 2013.
